BEES’ ZAK HAS STING IN THE TAIL

BARNET saw off the challenge of National League South strugglers Aveley with goals from top scorer Nicke Kabamba and the impressive Zak Brunt.
The National League title chasers kicked off with the wind in their favour, forcing the visitors on to the defensive with the Millers rarely able to get the ball anywhere near their opponents’ goal during the first half.
In the 32nd minute, Kabamba’s one-touch finish at the far post from Brunt’s astute delivery gave the Bees a well-deserved lead.
