HALLIDAY STEPS IN

EASTERN Counties Premier division side Harleston Town have appointed Matt Halliday as their new manager.
Halliday, who led Sheringham to back-to-back titles in the Anglian Combination and Division One North, was most recently in charge at Wroxham.
Connor McCarthy, who worked as first-team coach under Halliday at Sheringham, has been named as his assistant.
The pair have replaced former Norwich City and Cambridge United striker Danny Crow who left the club in October.
Harleston chairman Adam Mullin said: “We believe that Matt is the man that will take us forward.”
