TODD MILLER earned a point for Billericay as they overcame the early blow of succumbing to a second-minute goal.
The U’s made a bright start and Davide Rodari opened the scoring as he expertly fired into the top corner from the edge of the box.
This proved to be the catalyst for the Blues to wake up, Ashley Nzala cutting inside on the right and bending his effort onto the crossbar.
