ABBEY Hulton United’s record-breaking run in the Isuzu FA Vase continued as they saw off Droitwich Spa to make it into round four.
In an entertaining first half which swung one way and then another, James Lemon hit the crossbar for the visitors.
With everyone about to head for their half-time brew, Abbey broke the deadlock through Matt Bell.
The ball was 25 yards out when it fell to the former Leek Town and Nantwich Town man, who controlled it with his chest before unleashing a volley into the roof of the net.
