OXHEY Jets received a dream Christmas present – a grant of nearly £1 million to build a new artificial pitch.
Three Rivers District Council have awarded £966,000 to the Combined Counties Division One club to replace its replace its grass pitch at its Altham Way ground in South Oxhey, Hertfordshire.
Included in the project is the installation of new LED floodlights, fencing, terracing and storage facilities, plus improvements to the clubhouse, changing rooms and disabled entrances.
