GLADS NET A COUP IN PREM ACE

FORMER Premier League striker Matt Derbyshire has joined NPL Premier side Matlock Town, while he undertakes his UEFA coaching qualifications.
The 38-year-old made 76 appearances in the top-flight for boyhood club Blackburn Rovers, plus 200 more in the EFL for the likes of Nottingham Forest, Oldham and Rotherham.
He had also played Australia, Cyprus and Greece – the latter seeing him play Champions League football for Olympiacos.
Derbyshire has been without a club since departing Bradford City at the end of last season.
