SHAYMEN OPTIMISTIC ABOUT THE GO-AHEAD

CHRIS Millington hopes years of overcoming hurdles will finally pay off for FC Halifax Town having been told the EFL won’t be putting up an immovable blockade.
The Shaymen boss told The NLP he is “confident” that issues related to the planned sale of the club’s council-run stadium will not lead to exclusion from the National League play-offs that begin a week on Wednesday.
