UXBRIDGE boss Danny Edwards has experienced what it’s like to be on both sides of the deal in a penalty shoot-out – and he doesn’t want to have to go through it again.
Edwards was in charge of Chalfont St Peter when they agonisingly lost their 2008-09 FA Vase semi-final on penalties to Glossop North End.
But his fortunes changed for the better on Wednesday when his Uxbridge side edged out Kingstonian 5-4 in a playoff semi-final shoot-out that followed the sides’ 2-2 draw. ...
