CHORLEY boss Andy Preece hailed the season-long sacrifices of his players and staff after Mark Ellis swept them into the National League North semi-final.
Centre-back-turned-goalmachine Ellis was perfectly placed to decide their Eliminator with King’s Lynn on 84 minutes.
The former Torquay United and Notts County defender gobbled up the rebound after Tom Carr’s shot had been saved low by Lynn keeper Paul Jones.
