JERSEY Bulls have failed in their appeal against a points deduction that cost them the Combined Counties Premier South title – but the promotion picture is still no clearer.
The Channel Islanders were docked three points after midfielder Toby Ritzema – who received 10 bookings, including one in the FA Vase – played in a 4-0 win over Tooting and Mitcham United on March 29.
The Bulls mistakenly counted Ritzema’s Vase booking as one of the 10 with the midfielder therefore serving a two-match ban in the league when he did not need to.
