SECURING A FUTURE IS CELTS’ PRIORITY

DIRECTOR Josh Greaves insists the battle for Farsley Celtic’s long-term future had to take precedence over thoughts of fighting a three-level drop.
This week’s league allocations from the FA included news that the Celts, already relegated from National League North, had failed to secure a licence to operate at Steps 1-4 of the National League System.
In a season enveloped in crises, Farsley’s project to install a 3G pitch hit the buffers and resulted in an entire campaign on the road with most home matches played 70 miles away in Buxton.
