PROMOTED Redcar Athletic have made striker Louis Johnson their first summer signing as they prepare for their debut campaign in the Northern Premier League ranks.
Johnson, right, joins the Steelmen on a one-year deal following the expiry of his contract at northeast neighbours Bishop Auckland. Johnson helped Auckland win promotion from the Northern League in 2023-24 and went on to score 16 goals in all competitions as the Two Blues secured a credible 11th-placed finish in the NPL East Division, where Redcar will also make their Step 4 debut.
