SIMON Hollyhead says he is ‘really excited’ to have been given the chance to manage Kettering Town.
The 53-year-old was put on gardening leave by Banbury United last week following an approach by the Poppies.
He was confirmed in his new role on Friday and will be charged with the task of earning Kettering promotion from Southern Premier Central.
A UEFA Pro Licence holder, he brings plenty of experience to Latimer Park. He has previously been assistant manager at Scandinavian clubs Malmo, SK Brann and Odense and filled the same role at Stevenage.
