CONSETT drew within a point of pacesetters Bradford with a comprehensive Friday night win over struggling Ashington.
They could have been three up before going ahead in the tenth minute. Marc Costello’s shot was saved by keeper Tyler Jones, and Matty Todd’s follow-up hit a post before Isaac Walker fired home at the back stick.
