■ FINISHING made the difference between these two teams, as Wellingborough grabbed the spoils.
With only five minutes gone, early Doughboys pressure saw the ball ping-ponging round the home box and Will Jones pushed the ball in from close range to give the visitors the lead.
An even game developed, with both Kory and Kyle Burke soon going close for Boldmere; but with the half hour just gone, a mazy run by winger Taylor Franklin was poked home at the far post to double Wellingborough’s lead.
