■ SOUTHALL gathered their first three-point haul of the season against a lethargic Portchester, who only proved competitive after going two goals behind.
The best chance of a poor first half fell to the visitors but Zak Willett flashed his shot over the bar.
The home side went in front two minutes after the break, Dan Roberts finding the bottom corner and Makael Scott double the lead after reacting quickest to score the rebound from a shot ten minutes later.
The Royals got themselves back into the game in the 66th minute.
