■ LITTLEHAMPTON missed the chance to overtake Hartley Wintney as the two sides fired a blank yesterday afternoon.
However, it was not for the lack of trying that the deadlock was never broken with both having good chances in the opening exchanges. Hartley had a chance cleared off the line by Nic D’Arienzo after eight minutes of play. While Littlehampton goalkeeper Billy Collings needed to be alert to deny Alex Body the chance to score from a header.
