■ IT WAS history repeating itself for WGC, as they went out of the Trophy to the same opponents in a penalty shoot-out for the second season in succession.
Last season, it was Tilbury again who put the Citizens out, after a 1-1 draw at their Chadfields home and a 6-5 defeat on penalties, despite WGC netting an equaliser in stoppage time.
It was five minutes into added time, when defender Brad Gothard hooked home for 2-2 this time, to take it to another shoot-out after the Dockers had turned around the tie with a Dan Trendall double. WGC ...
