WINGATE & FINCHLEY are only in the relegation zone on goal difference following this victory.
The hosts took an early lead through George Hunt who converted from the centre of the box past Charlie Grainger.
However, the visitors began to grow into the game as Bradley Roberts denied the visitors on the line, following an initial effort by Gianluca Botti that was saved by goalkeeper Preston Edwards.
The Cheshunt keeper was forced in to action again not long after, denying captain Ryan Lowe.
