ST ALBANS City continued their unbeaten run with a hard-fought victory over Welling United at Clarence Park.
The Saints sit three points outside the play-offs and are now unbeaten in five league games.
It was a bright start from the hosts as Jasper Mather met a bouncing ball in the box and struck an effort that McKenzie-Lyle saved.
That pressure continued and Alex Dyer was next to test the Welling goalkeeper.
