DONVIEVE Jones proved Ramsgate’s saviour, ten minutes after coming off the subs’ bench, to salvage a point during an entertaining 1-1 home draw with Cheshunt.
The Rams began stronger, Mitchell May heading narrowly over the bar after a long throw was allowed to bounce around the box in the fifth minute.
George Nunn netted a second goal in his last three appearances down the other end nine minutes later, firing beyond Aiden Prall from eight yards and applying the finishing touch to a slick move.
