BANBURY overcame Quorn in an exciting encounter at the Spencer Stadium, sealing victory with a late strike from Jonathon Lawson.
The visitors stunned the hosts after just 50 seconds, when Cain Noble dispossessed Yaw Ofusu and fired home from 20 yards. Banbury quickly pushed back, George Ball’s cross being clawed behind by Adam Harrison. From the resulting Alex Prosser corner, Peter Abimbola’s header struck the bar before Ofusu scrambled in the equaliser after 12 minutes.
