GARY MCCANN continued his winning start as St Albans City manager, as two late goals flipped the game on its head at Clarence Park.
St Albans started brightly, and the first sight of goal came when Alex Wall nodded a delivery wide of the far post.
Alex Dyer was next to have a go, but the veteran midfielder sent his attempt well over.
Carshalton looked to gain a foothold in the game and Tolu Ladapo sent an effort straight at Magnus Norman.
Despite the difficult weather conditions, the deadlock was broken just past the hour mark.
