Sean McConville had to hold back the tears as his Clitheroe heroes knocked out National League big guns York City of the FA Trophy in front of a sell-out 2,000 crowd.
Substitute Leon Creech sent the Loom loft Stadium into raptures after firing the Step 4 Blues into an 89th-minute lead, only for the National League’s top scorer Ollie Pearce to equalise with the last kick of the game, in the NINTH minute of stoppage-time.
