CHATHAM continued their pursuit of promotion from the Premier Division, as they go into Christmas in third place after doing enough to defeat a spirited Cheshunt, particularly in the first half.
A well-worked short corner routine early on from the Ambers saw Antonis Vasilious deliver and leave everyone wondering how the ball hadn’t ended up in the visitors’ net.
Aymen Azaze nearly gave Town the lead when he almost spilled a free-kick effort into his own net.
