■FROZEN conditions and snow saw the entire Northern League programme wiped out. Three matches survived last weekend across the two divisions but even the artificial surfaces at Boro Rangers and Penrith succumbed this week.
Guisborough Town lead the First Division table, three points above Shildon with a slender goal difference of one, both sides having played 24 games in what is a two-horse race for the title.
Intriguingly, the final fixture of the season is between the two sides at Shildon, Guisborough having edged a seven-goal thriller against the Railwaymen in November.
