AN 84th minute equaliser from substitute Jonathan Lawson rescued a point for league leaders Folkestone Invicta in front of a 1.230 crowd at the Alcaline Stadium.
Watford loanee Lawson restored parity with a tap-in on his home debut after visiting goalkeeper Roco Rees had done well to save from Jake Hutchinson.
Burgess Hill had led thanks to a powerful 27th minute header from Ben Pope when the striker met Hamish Morrison’s ball in from the right after a short free-kick.
