A SECOND goal in a week for Frankie Merrifield capped another impressive afternoon for Billericay as they cruised to a fifth consecutive league victory with a win over Lewes.
The Blues could have been out of sight inside the opening seven minutes but Elliot Long and Merrifield were both denied by an inspired Louis Rogers, who kept the visitors in the contest early on. Alfie Cerulli also went close twice, only for Rogers to also deny him on both occasions.
