ST ALBANS CITY had to beat the M25, as well as hosts Burgess Hill, to secure the maximum points for their travels.
After lengthy delays on the motorway, which thankfully didn’t hold up any of the players, they did just that with a 1-0victory courtesy of Kieran Petrie’s 20th minute effort.
It was a fast start from Gary McCann’s men, with Petrie’s early finish. The Saints marksman cut in from the right-hand side, before seeing his left footed shot deflect in and wrong foot everyone to nestle into the corn...
