■ JUST two games beat the weather and went ahead in each division - but they were big results at the top of both leagues. Shildon, who scored late to earn a 3-3draw at Kendal Town in midweek, followed that up with a 2-0 win over Whitley Bay at Dean Street.
The Railwaymen struck twice in the first half to hit the top of the table as Bay missed the chance to break into the top three. Billy Greulich-Smith’s early header was added to by Adam Lennox’s 23rd minute finish.
