■ WITH their nearest rivals out of action Premier Division leaders Liversedge were able to open up an eight-point lead at the top thanks to a battling 1-0 victory at Tadcaster Albion where Kelan Swales’ effort just after the hour proved just enough.
At the other end of the table, strugglers Golcar United eased relegation worries with a 5-2 win at Thackley. Ashley Flynn led the way with a first half double. Oliver Russon, Rion Arbouin and George Doyle also on target. Both Thackley goals came from Toby Marriott.
