Southport are dreaming of a first trip to Wembley in 28 years – but Danny Lloyd says they will be showing semi-final opponents Southend United full respect.
The 34-year-old former Salford City, Peterborough United and Gillingham attacker slammed in the decisive shoot-out penalty as the National League North side upset Yeovil Town.
It saw Neil Danns’ side add a second Step 1 scalp on this Isuzu FA Trophy run having beaten Eastleigh to reach the last eight.
The Sandgrounders last visited the home of football back in 1998 when they took on Cheltenham Town.
