EMPLOYEES of York City have rallied round club owners Matt and Julie-Ann Uggla in the wake of a legal battle which threatens to cloud their promotion charge.
The Ugglas are being sued forbreach of contract by the club’s former owner Jason McGill – a lawsuit which could cost theNational League title chasers an estimated £4.2m
The dispute dates back to McGill selling his majoritystake in the club in 2022, as well as loans he had previously which they threw their made to the club.
