PLAY-off chasing Chatham produced a commanding performance as they secured victory over Canvey Island.
It was the Chats who started on the front foot and their pressure paid off in the 17th minute.
Sam Sene-Richardson cut inside onto his left foot and fired an effort at goal that was parried by the Canvey keeper right into the path of Nile Ranger.
The former Newcastle forward reacted quickest, calmly slotting home from close range to give the hosts a deserved lead.
