POOLE got back to winning ways with a hard fought victory over Taunton who will feel aggrieved not to take a point.
The first half was played at low tempo with few real chances. The Dolphins started the brighter with Samuel Ayo Faniyan neatly passing his defender to bring a save from the feet of Freddie Godden.
Charlie Davis’ long range effort was tipped wide by Godden before Ayo forced another good save after finding room for a powerful shot.
