HASHTAG United picked up an important victory at Canvey Island, which became even more important with relegation rivals Welling also winning.
However, the Tags didn’t have it all their own way as Canvey took the lead after just three minutes when Elliott Ronto finished off after Calum Newson’s header had found his skipper.
Their lead lasted just five minutes as Evans Kouassi found the net from the penalty spot as the match official pointed to the spot after Luke May-Parrott had been brought down.
