PENISTONE Church are aiming to break their all-time attendance record at their last home game of the Northern Counties East League season.
The game against Sheffield on Saturday, April 4 is being dubbed a ‘1,000 Fans Fun Day’ and is a pay-what-you-want event.
If the desired attendance is achieved, the match will become the first game to have a four-figure crowd at the Parker Roofing Memorial Ground in the club’s 120-year history.
The day will see junior matches kick things off at midday, with live entertainment in the clubhouse from 7pm.
