Scott Bartlett says he will try to awaken “a sleeping giant” while leading Bath City to Step 2 safety.
The former Weston-super-Mare and Eastleigh boss has replaced Darren Way, who was sacked last Sunday after 11 games without a win.
Ahead of Saturday’s trip to Eastbourne Borough, the Romans sat 10 points from safety with eight games remaining.
Bartlett had spent just over a month out of work after his five-month stint at Eastleigh ended following a 4-0 loss at Morecambe.
