NEWARK STEP ASIDE CARL’S TIME IS UP

NEWARK & Sherwood United are seeking voluntary relegation from the United Counties League Premier North.
And chairman Steff Wright has announced he to step down and be replaced by local businessman Michael Hardy, a director at the club for the past three years.
The Highwaymen, who currently groundshare with Harrowby United, aim to drop down to Step 7, move to a new home at Coronation Park in Balderton and rebuild as a community-based club.
