LAST season’s losing playoff semi-finalists shared the points in a mid-table end of season game at Hurst Cross.
Ashton restored Jason Gilchrist to their attack and four minutes in a fine run into the area by Darius Osei ended with Alex Byrne’s shot blocked and Byrne’s dangerous cross was then just cleared over his own bar by Jake Lawlor.
Ashton’s Sean Newton then needed to clear Kyle White’s shot off the line after Jordan Eastham had been sold short by a back-pass.
