Slew leads charge for super Sandgrounders

SOUTHPORT finished the season with a strong victory against AFC Telford United thanks to goals by Jordan Slew and Ben Collins.
The crowd at a sunny Haig Avenue was rewarded by a bright start from the home side.
The ever-dangerous Slew made the breakthrough with a brilliant goal after a quarter of an hour, firing a shot from 25 yards into the top corner after Malakai McKenzie’s drive through the middle.
Port shot stopper Chris Renshaw was forced into a couple of great saves in the first half.
