BRENTWOOD concluded the regular campaign as they plan for Aveley in the play-off semi-finals.
The visitors had the first real chance with an early free-kick. Lloyd Rowlatt delivered but Miles Obodo’s effort was cleared by Matt Cripps.
The Blues nearly went ahead when Cripps flicked out a pass to Danny Ogunleye on the right flank but his square ball fell couldn’t find Benas Vaivada.
Rowlatt sent a City corner into the area, where James Wild’s header was kept out by a punch from Aiden Prall.
