NORTH WEST COUNTIES LGE

■PENALTIES were needed to decide all three play-off finals as the North West Counties League drew to a close.
In the Premier Division, nothing could separate Padiham and Chadderton who drew 0-0 at the end of extra time and in the end Padiham keeper Matt Hamnett was the hero with a string of penalty saves as the hosts won the shootout 3-2.
There were no shortage of goals in the Division One North final as Droylsden and Maghull played out a thrilling 3-3 draw before the Bloods won the shootout 5-4.
