■FAKENHAM TOWN earned promotion to Step 4 in dramatic fashion after eventually running out 7-6 winners on penalties in their play-off final away to Soham Town Rangers.
The match finished in a 1-1 draw after extra-time with Fakenham keeper Luke Pearson the hero for the away side in the shootout after he saved a spot-kick following 13 successful penalties for both teams.
There were early chances in the game for both sides with Fakenham’s Joe Keeley forcing a fine save from Soham keeper Josh Pope.
