■BUCKHURST Hill will join champions Little Oakley playing at Step 4 next season, a first for both clubs, as the Stags beat Barking 1–0 in the playoff final at Roding Lane.
Barking thought they had scored in the third minute, only for their celebrations to be stilled as the assistant referee’s flag was raised for offside. The Stags’ first chance fell to George Edwards, in the 29th minute, but his shot went wide.
