Former Watford and Stoke City striker Gifton Noel-Williams says he is grateful for the opportunity to return to the manager’s dugout with Walthamstow.

The 46-year-old has taken as assistant roles at Billericay and Maidstone United in recent years but last acted as a number one in the Indian Football League with Real Kashmir in 2023.

Now, the former Championship striker– who also had brief spells in charge of Burnham and Codicote FC – has agreed a deal to take over at the Isthmian North side following the departures of Andy Leese and Jon Meakes last month.

Noel-Williams told Stow TV: “I love football, I love coaching, and I’m just glad for this opportunity given to me by the club to put my philosophy, my energy, and everything into this role in the hope to make this club successful.”
