Cookie was our ‘warrior’

GOSPORT Borough and Havant & Waterlooville are among a number of clubs to have paid tribute to “warrior” Aaron Cook, who passed away this week aged 46 following a battle with cancer, writes CHRIS DUNLAVY.
Centre-back Cook, who hailed from the Isle of Wight and came through the ranks at Portsmouth turned out for a number of clubs in the south such as Havant, Bashley, Eastleigh and Gosport before finishing his career with Bemerton Heath Harlequins in 2015.
