Deon’s pride at his Kenya call

WEALDSTONE defender Deon Woodman has told of his pride after being called up to represent his country for the first time.
The 23-year-old debuted for Benni McCarthy’s Kenya in the second of two back-to-back friendly matches against Lesotho in Pretoria, South Africa last week.
“It still feels surreal,” Woodman told the Stones media. “Representing your country is a huge honour and something I’ve always dreamed about. The environment has been brilliant.”
