CHERRY ASH A JERMAIN MAN

WOKING boss Jermain Defoe has returned to his former club AFC Bournemouth to sign highly-rated forward Ashley Clarke.
The 20-year old has signed a two-year deal with the Cards having spent time out on loan at National League South side AFC Totton last season, scoring 11 goals for the Stags and adding ten assists.
Director of football Jody Brown told the club’s website: “We’ve got a decent relationship with Bournemouth so when we met Ashley he came across well and illustrated the confidence and drive to further develop his career here at Woking.”
