CHAIR QUITS ROBINS’ ROLE

EVESHAM United chairman Ged Bearcroft has resigned from his role, citing commitments outside of the club.
Bearcroft originally stepped into the Robins’ role following the departure of Chris Wright. Initially intending to fill the position temporarily, he grew into the role and was subsequently voted back in as chairman at the club’s last AGM.
Announcing his departure, Bearcroft said: “To move forward, I believe the club needs someone who has more time to devote to the business, helping the club diversify and secure a strong position for the future.”
